I moved home from Rochester at the end of March, and began working upstairs in the “would-be” shop the first week of April. In my mind, I thought we could have everything demoed and rebuilt by the end of May. Clearly I was out of my mind, and my Dad would joke that we’d be lucky if we were open come Christmas time. Now I understand he wasn’t being all that sarcastic, here we are at the beginning of August, and I’m obviously still grinding away upstairs on the shop, feeling so close to the end of this project. I’m truly hoping to done and opened up sometime this month. But at the same time, this is my career, and this shop I want to be damn proud of and happy to come to every day, and I want to make sure you guys feel the same way when you come to get a hair cut or hang out. In the meantime, I’ve been having a blast cutting hair back home, meeting tons of new people, as well as some familiar faces. Working more on taking some awesome pictures, and better yet, making you guys look really damn good. I pride myself in this craft, in the relationships I build, and doing my best to make every guy who sits in my chair happy as hell with how they look and feel.

I just want it to be known how incredibly lucky and thankful I am to have this opportunity to be doing what I’m doing. None of this would be possible without the help of my family and friends who have lent a hand in making this shop become a reality for me. I’m truly grateful, and can’t wait to share it with everyone!
