To continue the growth and structure of C.S. Barber, I’ve decided to issue a New Policy that will help ensure client confirmations, and making advanced notification to reschedule. Last year saw far too many missed appointments without notification, as well as last minute cancellations that left me without ample opportunity to fill those spots. When this happens, it leaves me with gaps in my day that could have been filled by other clients, and the income that I rely on, I’m left without. Now I understand that things happen or come up in short notice, and believe me I’m more than forgiving of that. But I can no longer afford to be lenient when responsible action isn’t taken to inform me of having to reschedule or that a cancellation needs to be made. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that everyone remains accountable when scheduling an appointment and is responsible for contacting me to make changes when they arise or conflict with your schedule.

The new policy moving forward will be as follows:

  • All appointments being booked will require credit card information to complete the scheduling. (Your card will not be charged).
  • Any and all appointments that need to be rescheduled or cancelled, must be notified to me 24 Hours before the time of your scheduled appointment.
  • Failure to make scheduled appointments or notifying me of rescheduling/cancellation will be subject to paying a 50% fee of your scheduled service. (The card that was used to schedule the appointment will be charged within 14 days of the missed appointment).
  • If an emergency and/or situation arises where you can not make your scheduled appointment on the day of your appointment, please still contact me to inform me of the situation so that you aren’t subjected to the 50% service fee, and that we can reschedule your appointment.
